Carmel Science Olympiad 2018-2019
Carmel Science Olympiad is a student-run club at Carmel High School that trains teams of students to compete in Science Olympiad competitions throughout the school year. Our mission is to promote STEM education and encourage creativity in a friendly yet competitive setting.
While most events require little to no funding, we've found that engineering events tend to consume most of our budget. Funds will be used to purchase materials and tools for these events, in addition to paying for travel to competitions.
In 2018, Carmel Science Olympiad won the Indiana State Tournament and qualified for the National Tournament in Colorado, and we hope to return to nationals in 2019 at Cornell University. We thank everyone for their contributions toward this goal!
