Carlos Sanchez, a staple of the NYC underground dance community for over 40 years is in renal failure. He needs a kidney transplant. He has recently started dialysis, and has been placed on the donor list. He has been battling a multiplicity of health concerns for several years now. His diligent self care has allowed him to meet these challenges thus far.
The only solution for this is an organ transplant. There are friends in his life that volunteered to donate a kidney, that would go to a bank, and a subsequent match might be forthcoming. I don’t have to tell you how medical expense and after care can bankrupt a person in these circumstances. The intent is to raise funds to support and position him financially to be in a position to handle the expenses he will incur going through dialysis and through surgery. It is our hope to provide this assistance to help Carlos with the support; that will be necessary for him to weather this impeding storm.
As you all know there is no 401k for a DJ Carlos needs our support as he reaches the twilight of his career.
