Carli's Road to Recovery

On January 19th my sister Carli (known by some as Caroline), a single mother of a beautiful four year old daughter, was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma. After already suffering from a decade of chronic idiopathic medical issues, it was discovered that she has this late stage cancer. The cancer has spread to her lungs, intestines, bones, liver, and is even working it’s way into her brain. Carli's prognosis is 3-6 months to live without medical treatment.
While she has a loving family to support her during this time, the costs of fighting her cancer has become more than we can handle. Besides the physical effects, this cancer is already having major financial impacts on my family and Carli. She is unable to work to support herself or her daughter, and even if, God willing, she beats this disease, she will be left in an extremely tough financial situation due to the debt she will have acquired. She needs our support to enable her to become an independent and healthy person again.
The money we are raising is for more than just medical bills. It is to allow Carli to continue to fly herself and her daughter back and forth from Oklahoma to Virginia, to live independently, and to allow her and her daughter the opportunity to purchase a tiny home to sustainably meet their living needs.
We are so thankful for the outpouring of support and love we have already received. From the many meals you all have prepared for her, to the visits with Carli while she was being hospitalized, and all the many prayers; we cannot thank you enough for your compassion!
