Caring for Carolina & Baby Carlos

Carolina is a part of our Head Start family, where we have come to know and love her and her children. Carolina has been a dedicated parent volunteer in not only the classroom, but in many areas of the program as she was highly involved with the education of her two little girls .   Her involvement  has lead to building relationships with students, families, and staff. Our dear friend Carolina, at 30 weeks of pregnancy, was diagnosed with Leukemia. Due to complications, she had to deliver baby Carlos nine weeks early so that she could begin her own life-saving treatment. Her positive attitude, smile, and willingness to help others has always touched our hearts. We would like do the same for her  now.
