The Caribbean American Center of New York (CACNY)
is a multi-service, non-profit, 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization founded in 1987 and incorporated in New York State in 1988. Our purpose is to improve the lives of low income residents in New York City and in the Caribbean by raising their standard of living.
Since its inception in 1987, the Center has assisted over 68,500 children and adults. One of CACNY initiative is our Natural Disaster Relief Efforts & International Community Service Partnerships.
On October 4, 2016, Hurricane Matthew devastated the island of Haiti. CACNY, in partnership with other Not-for-Profit Haitian organizations will provide direct support for Haiti Relief.
In order to do so, we would like to request your generous donations to support these organizations that are schedule to go to Haiti and provide help to the Southern Region.
Funds received will be used to provide the following
* Medical Supplies: for example: IV Tubing and needle, Bacitracin, Tylenol, Aspirin, etc.
* Sanitary Items: women hygiene products, soaps, pampers and pull-ups
* School Supplies
* Water Treatment Tablets
* Small Household Items
* Water Filtration System
100 % (minus GoFundme fees) of donations will be contributed for Haiti Relief.
