Care for Venezuela, ¡es hora de actuar!.
Cada día se agrava más la situación de salud y escasez de medicinas en Venezuela. Esta es nuestra oportunidad de estar presente aún desde la distancia.
A muchos nos ha tocado buscar y comprar medicinas para nuestros familiares y hacerlas llegar de cualquier forma posible. Sin embargo, la gran mayoría de los venezolanos no tienen la posibilidad de recibir ayuda. Especialmente aquellos que padecen condiciones o enfermedades crónicas como hipertensión, asma, diabetes, enfermedades del corazón, entre otras, que requieren tratamiento continuo.
Somos un grupo de Venezolanos organizados que nos hemos propuesto ayudar, con la colaboración de una red confiable de amigos y médicos, a personas de bajos recursos con enfermedades crónicas que no consiguen los medicamentos y que mueren a causa de ello. Estamos conscientes de que en las actuales circunstancias los médicos no están exentos de riesgos al recibir nuestro apoyo, hay temor de recibir y entregar. Por ello, hemos realizado exitosamente varias pruebas piloto, de manera discreta y confidencial, garantizando así la seguridad de médicos, instituciones y pacientes.
Estamos determinados a aumentar nuestro alcance y TU apoyo es fundamental. Cualquier cantidad con la que puedas colaborar, será un gran aporte. Esperamos contar con tu ayuda. ¡Venezuela nos necesita!
Dear friends, family and citizens of the World,
We need your help. Our country, Venezuela, has undergone 17 years of political, social and economic strife that are evolving into a humanitarian crisis. The health situation and shortage of food and medicines in Venezuela worsens every day. We have either witnessed this personally or through relatives or friends. Many of us have had to search and buy medicines for our loved ones in other countries and then figure out ways to get them there safely. The Venezuelan government has been reluctant to declare an emergency situation because that would unveil the terible reality they have created over the past years.
The vast majority of Venezuelans do not have the possibility of receiving aid. Many suffer from chronic conditions or diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, among others, that require daily medications.
We are a group of Venezuelans launching this campaign to be able to buy and donate medicines for low-income people with chronic illnesses who risk their lives because they do not have access to what they need. We have structured a network of friends and doctors both in Venezuela and abroad and have carried out several prototypes to ensure that medicines arrive safely where they’re needed.
We are determined to increase our scope of action. Your support is necessary and important. With your kind donation you will make a difference in the lives of many people. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. We look forward to your caring support. Venezuela needs us !!
