Help us give kids in children's hospitals an extraordinary experience by transforming fear into fearlessness!
When kids put on a cape they feel that they can run faster, jump higher and perform superhuman feats. That can also include getting better and feeling better and doing things required of them in the hospital that they would really rather not - or feel they can’t - do.
It's our mission to help kids in children's hospitals foster bravery and fearlessness as they take their chemotherapy, undergo a transplant, combat a disease, endure physical therapy or go into surgery to repair their broken bones. By tapping into the infinite power of a child's imagination, we hope to turn every kid who is admitted to a children's hospital into a "Caped KIDsader" - a courageous superhero who is "cape-able" of beating whatever is ailing them.
In addition to providing each child with a cape of their own, we will also gift them the book, "That Medicine I Will Not Take!" - the first in a series of children's books that feature kids getting "caped" for doing feats of awesomeness.
