As an innovator I’ve thought long and hard about how to help our fellow citizens suffering from the devastation of multiple hurricanes. In my opinion, the best way to help our fellow citizens in the Caribbean is to invest in education. Knowledge builds confidence. The continued pursuit of knowledge will uplift and motivate the people of our picturesque devastated islands.
I am using my platform Ms Jheri Worldwide to share the Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop Learning: A Continuing Education Workbook. This innovative workbook is focused on cultivating English grammar and economics skills. By teaching young scholars basic language skills and general concepts like supply and demand they will be better equipped to identify these concepts in their community. My hope is for scholars to continue to build on the information in the workbook and for them to feel motivated to seek additional information.
As an educator I am unable to execute this task without financial assistance. I need financial resources to obtain: pencils, sharpeners, printing, mailing.
Workbooks will be distributed in the US Virgin Islands, Antigua, and Puerto Rico. I have secured an address to send workbooks directly to educators in the US Virgin Island while I am continuing to research more direct contacts on the other islands. I plan to print and send the workbooks to arrive in time for Christmas. We must move swiftly.
Money donated will be allocated as follows:
70% Printing
15% Pencils & Sharpeners
15% Mailing Services
