Canoe for the Kids

Tax deductible
On September 29th, 2017, Patrick Tansey, Liam Tansey, Joseph D'Amelio III and Benito DeRosa will conquer the Hudson River in #HelmTheHudson. Our quest: to paddle over 300 miles and raise money for a very special organization. Beginning our journey in the Adirondack High Peak Region of New York, we will canoe down this picturesque river for ten days and finish at Battery Park, in the heart of lower Manhattan. And while we may feel mentally and physically exhausted, it is nothing compared with what some children experience everyday.

Child trafficking is one of the darkest stories and most severe human rights abuses imaginable. Seldom discussed and often ignored, these innocent children are the invisible casualties of an epidemic that plagues our culture. In fact, there are almost 30 Million victims of human trafficking worldwide and over 1.5 Million right here on American soil.

Love146 is an organization working to end child trafficking through empowerment, education, prevention training and survivor care.

We are asking you to give whatever you can in support of our mission to help save these children and prevent future children from being taken from us. Donations will go to providing professional training to aftercare workers and law enforcement, and to teach prevention education.

We are so grateful for your generosity. Your support is what motivates us. We will be paddling hard because we know that no matter how rough the going for us, these children have the hardest upstream battle of all.

Stay tuned and spread the word!
