CancerWatch 2019: Chris Strikes Back

In June of 2018, our dear friend Chris was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. You may know him as Riff Raff, the bald guy in the Nuart box office, the Dungeon Master of Santa Monica, or the maker of the perfect gin & tonic.
Since his diagnosis, he has undergone surgery and is currently in the process of chemo. He is receiving treatment from USC Keck School of Medicine, and though insurance has covered some of this, he is struggling financially, which is the last thing anyone needs in traumatic times. While he is able to receive some disability funds, it is not enough to cover bills and life expenses while unable to work. His wonderful roommate Natasha has been single-handedly covering their rent and bills, but this is not sustainable.
This is where we come in. The Rocky Horror community is Chris’s chosen family, and we support our own through hard times. Currently we are asking to reach $5,000 to support Chris and pay back Natasha for her generosity. As time goes on, this amount may be subject to change as medical bills continuously come in.
