Aftermath of Cancer. recovery hurts

..I am a Single mom of 4 kids, age 39, diagnosed with invasive lobular grade 3 breast cancer on my 1st mammo! It had spread into the lymph nodes and I haven't been able to work since May 2015!. I had a radical bilateral mastectomy 10/8/15. the future is a posible hysterectomy, reconstruction although my skin is extremely thin and STILL HEALING., radiation started on 1/6/16 happy new year to me..on 2/1/16 I had to stop radiation due to bad burns on my skin.I resumed 2/22/16. Any donations I will discount future pups for when I recover.  I have proudly always been an active participant in animal rescues and donating to help raise money for hospital fundraisers, I do what I can when I can but during this difficult time I really needed the help of the community in giving what they could to help pay for house, car, and utilties. MY EX IS OUT OF WORK AND I JUST LOST THE INCOME OF HIS CHILD SUPPORT AS OF 10/22/15 . WITH Morgage, insurance, car payments , gas. . I have been a home health aide taking care of others first, raised an autistic child and have 2 young boys at home plus a daughter that visits and I still live with my Autistic son who is turned 18 -3 days after my diagnosis. He gave up going to college last fall to be my fulltime caretaker. he had been on an unpaid leave from work since june 2015... It is now june 2016 and brett is working 2 days a week and taking care of me since My ex broke my foot on 3/27/16. SO FAR IT HAS BEEN HELL... This disease steals your soul..it takes your hair, your confidence, your job, your security and even my breasts and some close friends.It makes you feel alone..I was lucky enough to see my son graduate after my chemo port was placed...was in pain but toughed it out for him... 


at this point Plastic surgeon says we need to wait 6 months to reconstruct. It looks like I will not need chemo at this point but I have to start the very scarey drug tamoxifin citrate..which if u look has its own support groups. We are hoping to be back in business by July. and do the surgeries before and after. With my foot broke I still need help paying the bills. My ex is still out of work with a comp check giving us child support once a month not weekly and not even near the full amount. Your donations are payng the morgage, food, electricity, dog supplies, although we have had to sell a few to survive, dog food, phone bill, car insurance, paper goods, gas!like I said earlier We are trying to concentrate on staying positive and healing. such setbacks flare up my PTSD.YOU REALIZE WHO THE GOOD AND BAD PEOPLE ARE IN THIS WORLD. I HAVE A WONDERFUL NEIGHBOR ON ONE SIDE ! Its a hard recovery emotionally physically and mentally...But there are wonderful people who help out and we appreciate and love you for it...Cancer shows peoples real colors quick. Chemo brain lasts a while. but we are survivors. Thank you all. we arent asking for help now but we appreciate it and need it. i posted my cell broke and some crackpot thought i was begging people to buy me 1...really??? sick !
