Cancer treatment & recovery aid
Lynn (momma Lynn to a lot of us!) was diagnosed with invasive ductile carcinoma. She spends her time providing extensive support and help to the people she holds close, and in true Lynn fashion, she took this diagnosis on with the strength we all know her so well for, never skipping a beat. Thankfully, her prognosis is positive and encouraging!
After doing her own research and meeting with her team of doctors, Lynn decided that facing a mastectomy with reconstruction was the best option for her. Recovery has been a battle for her emotionally and financially, however, and I think it's time that we help the lady that does so much for us all.
Moving forward, Lynn will be undergoing chemo and radiation, but what is worrisome is that the cost of transportation and her co-payments are beginning to add up. Lynn lives a rural life, and the distance makes it hard to afford transportation to and from where her treatments are. It's nearly prohibitive.
Despite the daunting challenges she is facing, Lynn continues to remain positive. This also means that she is nearly refusing to ask for any help. The very idea of asking for help is disheartening for her.
That is where we come in! Lynn has ALWAYS been here for us, helping and supporting us, regardless of when or why or how. Your support can (and will!) help her in her fight against cancer and her ongoing recovery.
(All donations will go directly to Lynn Javins to help her with the costs of transportation, co-payments, and any other needs she may face while undergoing treatment.)
