Cancer Treatment For Dawn Costales

My best friend, Dawn Costales, has been diagnosed with Kidney Cancer. The past couple of weeks she has gone through some testing to confirm the findings from earlier this year.  The cancer is slow growing but a blood clot has now formed so she has to have surgery to remove her kidney soon.  She needs to start treatment immediately and she will have to undergo several expensive treatments. We are raising money to help lighten the load of these very expensive procedures. But we are hopeful she will become a part of a clinical study for a more effective form of healing for her body from treatments like chemo. 

Dawn is an amazing single parent to her three children Lena, Amiela, and Duncan. She lost her husband to cancer a few years back and now has to do deal with this on her own without Patrick here.  Dawn is an amazing massage therapist a true healer and unfortunately will not be able to provide services while she is in recovery and care for her kids and dogs during her recovery.  She will be staying with me while she recovers since I live closer to Kaiser in Oakland then where her home is in Hayward for the next couple of months.  Due to the type of work dawn does she does not qualify for disability or for unemployment because she is an independent contractor. So she is in need of financial help along with emotional support during all of this.   Dawn has always been such a caring a nurturing person helping people all day with what she does with her magically healing hands and now its time for the universe to give her some love and support back.  Dawn, Myself and her family are ready to take this fight head on and would appreciate your support big or small.
