Cancer Sucks! - Relief for the Leon Family

As photographers, our job is important! Sometimes stepping up at a time in need is just what we have to do. Allow me to introduce to you, the Leon family! The Leon family is just one of many beloved McCaffry Photography families. This family is going through a really difficult time currently, and needs our help.  

This amazing family has granted me permission to share their story. I took updated family pictures for them yesterday, 11/24/18. Out of respect,  I will not be sharing those images. However, I was given permission to share this image of Andrea and I, in order to share their story. 

This is me, Lindsey - owner of McCaffry Photography LLC with not just a client, but a friend. This particular image was taken at the end of our session yesterday while I was giving my usual thank you, goodbye, hugs. Matt, Andrea's husband picked up my camera to capture the moment. He laughed when doing so and said, "this is too complicated, I can't figure it out." Luckily Heather came along to help with the session. Matt grabbed her and she was able to capture this for us. 

Andrea is a friend who is fighting one of life's worst battles. Andrea was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer in February 2017. The other image you see is the last family pictures I took for them in September of 2016. Five months before her diagnosis. This family has been fighting this battle for almost 2 long years. 

I don't know of a more deserving family in need of some holiday cheer, not to mention some much needed relief! If you know this family, you know they would never ask for any help. That is where I come in. At times like this you just need someone to step in and tell you they want to help. 

All of us here at McCaffry Photography are asking.... if you are able, and willing. Please help this family find a little bit of relief during this very difficult time. All proceeds will go directly to Matt & Andrea Leon. They are the beneficiaries on this account.
