On March 9th, our beautiful mother went to the hospital with what we thought was just leg pain. Four weeks later, on April 13th, we lost her due to very aggressive stage 4 breast cancer.
We are devastated and struggling to understand why the most loving and amazing woman of God, was so quickly taken from us.
Unfortunately, although she had survivors benefits, we just found out that this does not include burial assistance. We are asking that if you have ever met our mother and have been affected by her smile, her words, her song, her heart, please help us in anyway you can to lay our mother to rest.
All funds will go towards the burial of our mother, Debra Mackey Lewis.
