Cancer Recovery and Citizenship

This GoFund me begins with good news. My beautiful husband has just emerged from an 8 month battle with nasopharangeal cancer. He was given the great news last week that he is in full remission and there is no tumor, nor traces of cancer elsewhere in his body. He will still have to be closely monitored for the next 5 years.
These photos are from his chemotherapy and his radiation. The radiation was particularly tortuous.
Now that the treatment is over here there is still much ahead of him. He is still weak and terribly thin, having lost 52 pounds. He is wearing a 28 inch waist!
He likes to be fashinably thin, but not this skinny!
The next 3 to 4 months will be necessary for him to recover, and he is not strong enough for work. I will be able to seek employment now that he is not having to do round the clock care for Z, but that will take time. Additionally, Z and I need to move from our current living situation in the next few months. This comes at the request of my stepfather. My mother has been a great support for Z, caring for him like her own son.
So, Z and I are hitting the road at some point soon likely to head to Florida and try and rebuild our lives physically, psychologically, emotionally, and economically.
In addition, Z has just met the requirements to apply for his US citizenship which is time sensitive given current immigration politics.
This next picture is of Z being all fancy and cancer free!
We need more funds to pay for his citizen application which is about 1,000 dollars, and to survive over the next 3 to 4 months until we are resettled elsewhere than NY.
You have all been amazingly generous and we could not have made it through his treatments without the funding, love, support and most importantly your positive intentions. However, those past funds will run out soon and we have a ways still to go.
