Breast Cancer at 26 Years Old

Donation protected
In June I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Until you go through that, you don't think about cancer consuming every aspect of your life. Surgery affected my work and it feels I have been to 50 doctors appointments which exhaust you mentally and consume your time. Now the medical bills are flooding in. Cancer is an attack on every part of your life- not just physical. Yesterday, after getting my hopes up about the possibility of not going through chemotherapy, I learned that my pathology was done incorrectly and that I actually have a more aggressive tumor that makes chemo something that I will be going through. If I do hormone therapy alone (and I've had a mastectomy), I still have a 10% chance of recurrence of cancer that would be terminal (in my liver, bones, etc). At 26, I now have to consider fertility (more appointments, more time, more bills) and loosing my hair (traumatizing and guess what- wigs are not cheap) and many other factors. I just got engaged and I work hard to save my money. Just several weeks prior to finding out I had cancer, my fiancée and I bought a small home. The thoughts running through my head are unbearable and it's not easy asking for help, but life dealt me this card and I need all the help I can get.
