Unfortunately after being in remission for 3 and a half years, Crystal's Leukemia came back. This came unexpectedly as she was just coming to Atlanta for her routine check up. She then was quickly admitted back to the BMT unit and has now already started her first round of chemo. Our goal now is to get her into remission and figure out our next steps from there.
This time will be a little different from the previous time Crystal dealt with Leukemia. Before we lived in Atlanta, and our biggest responsibility was our dog Khloe. This time we had moved to Columbia, SC and were also blessed with our beautiful baby boy who is now 14 months old. We were told we will need to be local to Atlanta for at least the next 10 months so this time around will be different from the previous as we will need temporary housing while Crystal undergoes a new treatment plan.
Many have asked us how they can help especially with most of our closest friends and family being out of town. First, we need your prayers for Crystal to keep her strong and for God to give her a long term remission. The only other way would be to help with some of the upcoming cost of the temporary housing and medical bills moving forward.
