Support Catherine and Robert's Camp Fire Recovery
It is with both a heavy and happy heart that I am able to say my mom, Catherine, and her fiance, Robert, were fortunate enough to escape the Camp Fire with their three dogs last week before it ripped through their neighborhood in Paradise and leveled their home on Pentz Road.
Having lost everything but their lives and now facing so many uncertainties, this funding will help establish them in an immediate situation that will provide them with the relief and foundation needed to take their first steps in what, as many in our Sonoma County community unfortunately know all too well, will be a long and arduous journey back to security and stability. These emergency funds will help pay for urgent needs: housing, asthma medicines, pet supplies, and basic necessities.
With winter and the holidays approaching, we know it is a heartbreaking and demanding time for so many families in the Paradise community. There are so many people in need. So many places your resources can go. I ask you to consider donating directly to my parents; every dollar will go toward fulfilling their needs while working through this crisis. Any support you can offer will make a big difference in their recovery.
