Camp Fire Burn Survivor

$13,062 of $15,000 goal

Every Camp Fire Survivor is going to have the emotional and mental scars left behind from that fatal morning, but nobody will have the physical scars that Terra Hill will carry on her body for the rest of her life. Second and third-degree burns on over 50% of her body, a medical induced coma for 2 months, at one point only a 20% chance of survival, skin graphs, PT, RT, OT... all of this and more is just the beginning of her road to recovery.  On the morning of November 8, 2018 Terra was awoken by fire outside her window. She was met by flames and road blocks every which way she tried to flee whilst bare foot, wearing only shorts and an Under Armour top (only places on her body/skin that did NOT burn was under that top!!). With nowhere to go, she was forced to hunker down underneath a vehicle and use air out of the tire to survive.  To this day her vocal chords are stressed leaving her voice raspy from screaming at the top of her lungs, with her last bit of adrenaline, to a fire truck passing by. The fire fighters managed to get her into their truck which drove her out of Concow. She was passed onto an ambulance at highway 70 and taken to the hospital, leaving pieces of skin and blood everywhere she touched because the burns were so bad that her body was literally melting. She is about to be discharged from the hospital. She has had no money from FEMA, Red Cross, or Salvation Army as she hasn't even been able to take care of all that. Her days are spent doing dressing changes, PT, RT, OT, resting, and trying to piece together what she can of her memory and life.  She has just now been able to reach out and acquire assistance with everything that needs to be done (FEMA, RC, SA...), but we all know all too well how long this process can take with those agencies. We do have someone with a lot of experience working to get her applications & registrations pushed and case managers. In the mean time, please help by donating to her GoFundMe, PayPal, or Venmo. No amount is too small (or too big, we can provide an EIN for anyone wanting to donate an amount would like a 501(c)(3) receipt for). There is also an Amazon Wish List, this will change continuously as her needs and living situation changes. A few things needed ASAP... a wheelchair accessible place to live (in Chico for her appts), Therapy (someone Experienced to come to her, for free Please), would LOVE to find the fire fighters who found her and saved her life rescuing her out of Cirby Creek in Concow!!  She has a long road ahead of her, but she is a strong @$$ woman!! And is already healing amazingly beyond expectations!! Please understand and respect her need for peace and rest to achieve the best recovery outcome possible. We will keep posting updates on the GoFundMe as long as it is active, so please come back often to see how she is doing that way.  Thank you everyone for all your kindness and support through all of this. It truly is amazing to see how perfect strangers that have never met, and will never meet, come together and help each other in such desperate times.  Amazon Wish List https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/24IFV6T1NI37Z?ref_=wl_share. I want to thank everyone who has donated and given support to me. There are no words that can express my appreciation.
I now have a support team helping work on FEMA, RC, SA, SS... thank you all for your sincere concern. It's nice to know others genuinely care.
I have been asked if I have a PayPal and Venmo, they are attached below.
Lovin my new slippers!! First piece of real "foot wear" I've been able to put on.
Thank you for continuing to share my story. My condition is something I am still learning to live with and will be living with for the rest of my life.
Many of the items I need to purchase immediately are proper clothing, wound dressings, bandages, wraps, copay on medication...
