On June 28, 2019, Cameron and Hunter Merrill were in a horrific car accident and both experienced traumatic brain injuries and have been held in ICU. Many have expressed their concern and desire to help in some way . Some have specifically requested this GoFundMe account be created to help the family through this difficult time with the foresight of all the expenses that will be hitting this family. Cameron has had some improvements. Hunter was sitting in the middle seat of the truck with only a lap belt. As a result, his injuries are quite extensive and he remains in ICU.
Cameron had surgery to relieve pressure from his brain and had a titanium plate installed. Hunter has mostly stayed heavily sedated.
