The Camera Heritage Museum is located in Staunton Virginia. It was established in 2011 to preserve and display more than 5,000 cameras and accessories, along with historical artifacts representing over 150 years of camera technology. At this time we are only able to display about 1/3 of our collection and more are coming in from donations around the world. We are interested in aquiring the building formely known as the P. Buckley Moss Museum in Waynesboro Virginia.
With some remodeling needed and the purchase of the building from The Virginia Tech Foundation, this project will cost around 7 million dollars to permenently house this massive collection.
I, David Schwartz am the curator of the museum and would love to have all the cameras available to the public, for educational and historical viewing.
Thank you for your interest in our project.
