Help VFW 5923 Keep Its New Building

CAMDENTON VFW NEW COMMUNITY CENTER & RESTAURANT NOW CLOSED
CAMDENTON, MO – The Camdenton VFW’s new building, which houses the Francis Geilfuss II Community Center and the Bunker Bar & Grill opened its door for the first time on Thursday, August 3rd.
The Camdenton VFW has been trying to complete and fundraise for the new building for over 4 years. A project many believed would never get completed, due to multiple construction issues and funding problems. Many members and businesses worked tirelessly to keep the project moving, and many businesses donated materials and labor to keep us from going further into financial debt.
While great effort has been made to fundraise the project via online donations, event sponsorships, and grant proposals, we are far short on the monies needed to pay for this building. On top of the operating expenses of 2 buildings, we now have a substantial mortgage. If you, or someone you know, would like to donate to help lower that debt, your post would greatly appreciate it. Tax letters can be prepared. We are a 501(c)19, but we can accept 501(c)3 donations via a VFW Foundation pass-through.
