Astrophysics at Cambridge University !

Hello!
My name is Asmae, I am a high school student, and my dream since I was a kid is to become an astrophysicist and work at the NASA! Astronomy has always been my passion, since the day I got my first telescope when I was 6, but after reading a book about black holes, and cosmology written by a great astrophysicist: Martin J Rees, I was seduced by the complexity of astrophysics, and how it requires a lot of reasoning as well as imagination. I guess my love of science fiction is also responsible for my passion. I realised I want to be part of the people who use science as a mean to describe, define, investigate and ultimately try to understand the world in which we live, and how it works, in order to make the evolution of humanity possible. There are so many fascinating mysteries in the universe, that I need to make sure I will one day be able to unravel some of them! I also want to prove that women have their place in this scientific field!

Today, I am very motivated and determined to become an astrophysicist!
Thus, I have been working very hard to get the best grades and get into the prestigious University of Cambridge, which has been ranked as the number one university in the world. This University provides more than excellent astrophysics courses, probably the best in the whole world!
Studying there would be a fantastic opportunity that would open so many doors for me!

I am planning to apply for Cambridge University in october 2013; unfortunately, I am not able to pay the living costs (around £8000) and a small part of the fee for the first year, that is why I am asking for your generosity to make my dream come true!

I think it would be too bad that a trivial issue involving material things such as money could surpass the power of passion and motivation, and most importantly, the power of science!
