Cambodian American Rescue Organization, Inc. (CARO) The Cambodian American Rescue Organization is a grassroots community organization that strives to raise awareness about the lively Cambodian culture in our local community. CARO is operated by many dedicated volunteers from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds who share the common goal of enriching the local community in ways that benefit all residents, not only by providing information about Cambodian heritage and promoting awareness of the Cambodian culture, but also by interacting with all interested groups and organizations to promote cultural diversity between all residents.
2nd. Annual Cambodian Cultural Festival
Your contributions will help us to support our organization in the creation of our 2nd. Annual Cambodian Cultural Festival that is being held on July 29, 2017/ Rain Date, August 05, 2017 @ JFK Kennedy Park 300 Bradford Ave, Fall River, MA 02721.
As we all know that celebrating our culture allows us to perpetuate healthy relationships and allows us to network within our community. This annual event allows us to collaborate with other service organizations. The most importantly it allows us to integrate with the larger community of Cambodians where we can become more visibly present.
All proceeds will be used for the expenses of the festival:
· City Fee
· Event insurance
· Stage performance
· Musician band
· Cambodian Star singer
· Porta John
· Hand wash station
The money that remains will be used to rent a building for a “Cambodian Community Center “so we can serve our programs within our community thought-out the years!
Therefore, we’re reaching out to the general public humbly asking for your support in raising fund for our event. With your generous support we can make this year festival a bigger and better for everyone to enjoy with their family, friends and community on July 29, 2017.
