Calvin Bowman's songs have received acclaim from some of the most distinguished names in the arts over the years:

Although well known as a keyboard player of exceptional abilities, writing artsong has been Calvin Bowman's professional raison d'être for over twenty years.
So far, only a couple of the hundred or so songs he's written have been recorded. Calvin is very keen to share a disc full of his songs with music lovers everywhere - songs of beauty, melancholy and soul such as this one:
The singers involved in this comprehensive survey of Calvin's songs are amongst Australia's finest - Sara Macliver, Paul McMahon and Christopher Richardson. In addition, the world renowned British engineer and producer Phil Rowlands will be capturing these sublime voices for CD, and pianist Ian Munro will play alongside Calvin in some Walter de la Mare settings which require a piano duet accompaniment. The recording will take place in the Iwaki Auditorium in Melbourne.
The money raised in this part of the campaign will go towards artists costs and engineering and production fees. Overall production costs will be in the vicinity of $36,000.
