Pilvax Players Hungarian American independent theater company is located in New York but our cast and creative team is an international group. Some of our actors come from Hungary, studied acting in Europe. Others trained as an American actor, singer or dancer in the United States. All of them are really gifted and work really hard.
In our sixth year of producing, we present a fresh look of our greedy but funny world through this Hungarian play written by a talented Hungarian playwright Edina Tallér. The Californian Dream is an amazing meaningful comedy, a social burlesque about a dispatcher office in Budapest, Hungary. Its characters and the bittersweet story itself is very international and contains an intense critical view about all of us in a consumer society.
Our World Premiere will be on September 21st, 2017 at 8 pm at the New Stage Theater (36 W 106 Street, New York, NY 10004). Five performances only! Sept 21, 22, 23 at 8pm, Sept 23, 24 at 3 pm!
