Calif. Mel. Boys Equip. Recovery

Many of you read my post on Facebook regarding the California Melody Boy's trailer, sound equipment, and entire stock of CDs, were stolen on Christmas Eve. The support has been overwhelming. On behalf of all of the members of CMB we thank you and appreciate you so much.
As owner of the California Melody Boys, there are unique conditions that are making financial recovery of this loss very difficult in regards to insurance coverage. The most we could recover is $1000 and that would mean increased premiums. Over the years we have tried hard to put quality equipment in front of audiences to enhance performances. While that is not our number one concern or goal, we believe that putting our best foot forward should always be in the mix. Therefore our equipment is expensive. The microphones alone were $600 each. There were a total of three among other backup models. The Bose speakers brand-new are about $800 each. There were four of them. The list goes on: brand new iPad, microphone stands, amplifiers, 10 space rack, equalizers, miscellaneous Music players, a brand-new CD project plus old stock, marketing materials, a $1500 backdrop banner, Yamaha mixer, tables, display covers, CD Racks, etc. The trailer itself. This is not everything. It's just meant to give you an idea of the content .
We sing about the only true hope in the world and we never know which song will draw a tear or a smile, or a sense of relief to a listening soul. The tool of gospel music is very satisfying and fulfilling. Those that have heard us know we are about ministry not just a musical presentation. We are praying that the ministry stays alive and we believe that it will but we respectfully and humbly need your help. Many of you were asking about a platform to help us with the financial recovery needed. This is that format. While this is not something that I personally am comfortable with, I was overwhelmed with the response that we got and the assistance that's been offered. Hopefully, combining this effort and possibly a concert fundraiser, we will be able to be whole again and continue our work for the Lord.
We are currently beginning the process of becoming a 501(c), nonprofit organization. For those of you who may also benefit from the tax deduction this will help you in that manner, as well.
If you feel led to assist us we appreciate it very much. If not, we love and appreciate you anyway. Please only do so if you feel the Lord has laid it upon your heart.
