Calhoun Student Relief

On October 10, 2018 Hurricane Michael plunged into the Panhandle of Florida leaving behind a trail of destruction and loss.

This level of devastation is unfathomable to us as adults.  We cannot begin to imagine the mental and emotional effects that this has had on the children of Calhoun County.

Imagine being a student during a school year with no homecoming, prom, field trips, concerts, musicals, club gatherings, holiday celebrations and sports events. 

Imagine being a parent who desperately wants to provide these experiences for your child, but can't because you lost your home or even your job.

Calhoun Student Relief is a crowdsourcing site designed to raise discretionary funding for each school in Calhoun County on a per-student basis.  Funds will be placed in a Student Relief account and used to support our children during this difficult time.  With enough funding, we can hope to meet their needs through the end of the school year.
