CAIR Youth Leadership Program

Hi all! I, Yusra, have been chosen to go to Sacramento for the annual Muslim Youth Leadership Program presented by CAIR (Counsel on American-Islamic Relations), along with many others throughout California.  To attend the program, I need to fundraise a total of $800, and any one dollar would help immensely. Being a young Muslim in America, I feel it is important for all youth to familiarize themselves with and contribute to their government system. This is an amazing opportunity to gain leadership skills and learn how to be impactful in our government, encouraging youth to acquire the confidence necessary to stand out as leaders. The money fundraised will go to cover funds for the trip and as well as go to CAIR to help them with the amazing work they do to address misconceptions and advocate for political justice through educational programs, civil rights cases, communication, and much more.
