Hi family and friends, I am very excited because the tournament is in only 6 weeks (04/11/17). I met my team mates last week and I believe we have one of the best teams to represent my country. Hi, I'm Cristian, my birthday was on October 24, I am 11 years old. My mom told me the first day of the month "Cristian this is your month, you will receive many surprises," my mom was right, Sunday October 2nd while I was playing in a soccer game, that day was important because I was playing in the Ryan Connlly field, in my hometown Winchester, against Sachems, a Club from Winchester, But I was playing for Benfica USA ( that's my team) so you can imagine my emotions and cross feelings. This game I dedicated to my inspirational friend Milan whom all in Winchester know him very well. I scored one goal and it ended up tied 2-2
After the game my coach told me "Cristian I need to talk to your parents ". My birthday gift came in advance. I was invited to participate in an International Tournament on Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal in the month of April 2017 representing the Connecticut Futbol Club (CFC) Real.
Everyone who knows me, like my family, friends of my parents and sisters Diana and Jennifer, know that my passion is soccer… My greatest passion and enthusiasm, all training days to acquire discipline and skills that make me improve every day, my dream is to become a professional player, I know I'll make it because as my parents say "If I believe in myself then i'll truely make it.". For me it is very important to go and participate in this International Tournament on Terceira Island, Azores in Portugal in April 2017. I count on your help to get this new life experience. Your contribution will help cover mandatory expenses to go and do what I like most, playing soccer. They include: hotel, meals, plane ticket, practices and games, uniforms, bus transportation and sightseeing. We will be very grateful to the money received and will make you and my family very proud of my performance.
