If you know our brother Anthony Atchison you know he has the most amazing heart. If you do not know him, let me tell you a little bit about him. First off, his family means everything to him. He works relentlessly to provide them with anything they need. He is paired with the most amazing wife Sierra who does it all while he is on the road 70+ hours a week. When he is not working, his time is spent on the soccer field with his daughter Sidney and his son A.J.
On Wednesday afternoon his whole life was flipped upside down. He was driving after work when the chest pains began. Anthony immediately called a co worker who was nearby and he rushed him to the ER with what appeared to be a heart attack. He has been in the hospital since then under going tests and trying to get answers.
Today we received some very sad news. Although there is no blockage, his heart muscle is severely damaged and he needs a pacemaker right away. But that will not be enough. With his heart pumping at only 20%, he is going to need a heart transplant.
Our brother is only 48 years young and although he is Boston Strong, he and his family are going through an extremely difficult time out in California. With the holidays approaching and his medical bills rising, we are trying to help ease the financial burden so he can focus solely on getting better.
No amount is too small, every little bit helps. Our family appreciates anything and everything you can do, even if it just sharing his story and saying a prayer.
