Anya's Trip Home

Members of the Dartmouth Community,

As many of you may know, Anya, one of the wonderful women who works at Collis Late Night, is going through a very difficult time as she recently suffered the loss of one of her sisters in Ukraine following a battle with cancer.

As the Ukranian medical system is not as developed as ours, most of Anya's sister's cancer treatment was paid for completely out of pocket, draining the life savings of Anya and other members of her family. Given these financial troubles, Anya is left with no means to travel back to her family in Ukraine during this time of grieving.

This campaign is to raise money to send Anya back home to Ukraine. Although she never reached out to the Dartmouth student body for help, after speaking to other members of Collis Late Night, we realized what a dire financial situation Anya is in. Psi U's goal is to raise $3,000 for the cost of Anya’s plane and bus tickets.

Part of what makes Dartmouth so strong is our incredible sense of community and shared responsibility. Anya is the face you see at your best and your worst. She is constantly supportive of us, and has gone out of her way to develop personal relationships with so many of us, making Dartmouth feel more like home. Whether you give 50 cents or 50 dollars, it will be deeply meaningful to Anya during this extremely difficult time. Thank you!
