She's my best friend. She's twelve years old, and she fell ill with undiagnosed diabetes two days ago. She had some complications at the animal hospital because some fluids developed near her little heart, but they extracted it, and think she might be on the mend.
But we are out of money. We've already spent thousands, and she needs a few more days there. Every resource is tapped, and in about 24 hours, if I don't have more funds, I will have to say goodbye.
She is the one I come home to. I've caught myself accidentally calling her name, thinking I hear her collar. I never knew I could love anyone or anything so much. Please, help me save Lola!
The doctors said her numbers are good, she just needs to perk up and start eating. She's wagging her tail only in response to my voice. She is pictured here with her favorite toy, known as "her baby", a small blue fish. She has a sister, Sasha cat, who really wants her to come home. Blue is her favorite color, she loves Doritos, she loves to watch squirrels...and scratches things when she gets mad! She loves to give high fives to my boyfriend, who also loves her very much.
Anything can help, I know the holidays are just past, and it's a very expensive time of year. Lola will appreciate any contribution you can make, & I will be forever grateful. And maybe I will be ok, because right now that seems very far away.
