A Brighter Future for All

Donation protected
Hello Family, Friends, and Supporters!

Imagine a world where everyone can read.

What would that look like?

Unemployment would be eradicated.
Prison populations would be reduced by 75%.
Families would function at their optimum levels.

                   Literacy provides the structure necessary
                                        for a thriving society.

According to the National Institute of Child Health
and Human Development,

“Reading is the single most important skill necessary for a happy, productive, and successful life.”

WHO WE ARE:

We are a mother-daughters team raising funds to design and develop LETTERS© educational resources for new, dyslexic, and struggling learners.

All money raised during the Go Fund Me campaign goes directly to the costs associated with paying suppliers to design, develop, and manufacture LETTERS products, not to pay our wages.

WHAT WE ARE DOING:

Our company is called LETTERS© and was founded in 2010.  LETTERS© is an acronym for Learn Easily Together The Educational Resources Store.

We began by designing and developing worksheets for a local tutor. There were no resources available that met all the criteria required to assist struggling students with spelling, printing, and reading.
It soon became obvious that worksheets would only meet the needs of a few but if we developed multi-sensory English language curriculum and resources we could meet the needs of many.
We halted production and focused our efforts on designing the LETTERS© Module 1 Dictionary which became the foundation of the program. Once the words, definitions, and hand-drawn pictures were established for the first ten (10) sounds in Module 1, we were able to start building curriculum once again.

We successfully launched four (4) books and six (6) sets of flashcards in April 2015.

Over the past six months we’ve had the privilege of working with a local family and taking LETTERS© to a whole new level; we’ve been able to truly put the “multisensory” into our products and resources with the development of Uppercase and Lowercase Puzzle Boards and a variety of Discovery Kits.

With the tremendous success of the prototype, we are now combining efforts with a local company to produce quality Puzzle Boards out of wood.
We are currently in the process of making alterations and adjustments to the second prototype of the LETTERS© Uppercase and Lowercase Puzzle Boards to ensure that the finished product will be an outstanding educational resource for learners of all ages and abilities.

OUR GOAL (April 2016):

We aim to raise $20,000 to cover the costs associated with paying suppliers to design, develop, and manufacture LETTERS© paper-based lessons and the LETTERS© hands-on resources, not to pay our wages.

We have reserved a table at a local tradeshow and convention taking place the end of April 2016 and we aim to have all of LETTERS© curriculum and resources available for purchase by then.

HOW  YOU CAN HELP:

Donate money through this LETTERS© Go Fund Me page: Money raised will go to suppliers to design, develop, and manufacture LETTERS© curriculum and resources.

Promote LETTERS© products and share our website to spread the word to those educators and students who would benefit from using LETTERS© curriculum and resources.

Donate in-kind services: Contact us through our website to find out how you can volunteer your time and talents to the LETTERS© project.

WITH MUCH APPRECIATION

There is an overwhelming need to help struggling learners become successful readers. We regularly meet individuals who are discouraged and on the brink of giving up, but we have the privilege of making a difference in the lives of these vulnerable, struggling learners in our communities.

We are so thankful you are willing to join with
LETTERS© to provide education and support to
build a brighter future for all.

Imagine a world where everyone can read.

                                                   "Thank you!"
