Please sponsor my volunteer trip to Haiti as a part of Manor Farm team for 1 week in September 2018
Haven is a non-profit Irish organisation, strongly committed to empowering the people of Haiti to build strong, sustainable livelihoods and communities. Working solely in Haiti, Haven focuses on 3 core development areas: water and sanitation, training and education and shelter.
Manor Farm have been working closely with Haven since 2015 and in order to build small family run chicken farms in Haiti. This allows the families to run a viable business that has the opportunity to grow as they sell their chicken commercially.
The ambition for this project is to build at least 20 chicken farms per year as well as provide training for families to develop their business and become self-sustainable.
100% of all funds raised are donated to the project of building chicken houses.
