A little help

Hey all....
This is the first time i have had to break down and ask for help...so bare with me and let me tell you my story....
A bit more than a year ago, i had an accident. I fell off my horse and broke several bones in my back. Wrecked my leg and scarred my face up. I was helpless for a good two months, but didn't give up. I lost a job in the process...but was blessed by it almost, as it lead to another job that has turned into an amazing opportunity for me at the Alsea School District. I love it there, and the people there have quickly become like family to me.....fast forward a year to this last summer....i was doing daycare over the summer months while i was on school recess and ruptured a bulging disk, previously injured by my accident. It was pressing my leg nerves and i quickly lost most mobility of my leg and was in constant pain. I was reduced to using a cane everyday, but still went to work everyday and even assisted coaching volleyball most of the season. Finally, it was deduced i needed surgical treatment to fix the problem. I worked up until Oct 12th....the weekend before my Monday surgery.
Surgery seemed to go well....but i just wasnt recovering the way i should have been. Two week fast forward.....i was readmitted to the hospital with a raging infection wrapping around my lower spinal cord and an abcess next to the disc they had worked on. I had a fever of 104.8 and was in pretty bad shape. I ended up needed surgery #2 and a jp drain placed in my back. A week in the hospital and many, many blood draws, and antibiotics later....they told me they knew what it was and could go home....with a PICC line. I am currently slowly recovering at home. I make two trips a week to the cancer center to get things done and get more medication. They say hopefully it will only be a 6 week at home treatment...but they don't know. My picc line stays in 24 hours with round the clock dosing to try to get me better.
I miss my life to be honest. I miss my work. The kids i work with and being active in the community. This had hit my family hard in so many ways. My husband works hard, full time. But we just arnt making it without my income. Any help for gas, food, or hey, Christmas would be amazing. But money is tight for all, i know! So if you can't, thats okay! Thanks for sticking with me and reading my novel!!! Much love!
