She has made a full recovery! She can see, she loves to play with her toys, she runs, jumps and is now even climbing the stairs!
This little one year old Maltese has truly lived up to her name and she has touched the lives of many people around the world.
She is our Miracle!
WE owe a debt of gratitude to the entire world

Without all your love, prayers and support we wouldn't be where we are at in Miracles recovery! I apologize for not doing more updates on here, I have been doing daily updates on her Facebook page, you can find her at www.facebook.com/adognamedmiracle and you can follow Miracle's Journey! The following is from Tuesday nights update.
Tuesday, August 18, 2015, 8:00 p.m. California USA time.
The day has finally come! I am so excited that Miracle was able to come home today! It is truly a miracle that she has survived everything that she has been through, she definitely lives up to her name! On the way home she had a bowel movement in the car and it was completely solid! Thank goodness!
Miracle is doing great, I just checked on her in her crib, she wants to come out and go exploring. I will be letting her get some exercise but in small doses. She only has two medications to take, one is for her sore bum because it is raw from all the diarrhea and the other is just an anti-nausea.
I am going to go spend some time with my baby so I will be posting pictures later.
Thank you everyone that has been on this Journey with us,
We couldn’t have done it without you, with all of your love, prayers and support, so Miracle and I send our thanks out to the entire world!

And Animals Too…
I was able to feed her the first night about 20 cc in a syringe but then she got sick and threw it up, so we gave her about 10 cc of water via syringe and she was able to hold that down, she is on a lot of medications, including an anti nausea, the next morning she didn't even want the syringe, I could only get about 5 cc of very diluted food in her, she vomited again about 11:00 am,, by about 3:00 pm. she had another bowel movement that was pure liquid and that's when she started to crash, we rushed her back to the emergency vet and on the way I think we started to lose her, she was in the back seat with my wife while I was driving but my wife was able to get her to hang on, her eyes started to glaze over and then rolled back in her head but my wife Donna told her
(((Don't you LEAVE US))) and she opened them again. She has been admitted and is on I.V. and they are going to do ultrasound on her belly and some more blood tests, the worst part is that they suspect it may be parvo so she has to stay a few days there and be in isolation so I gave her the shirt I've been wearing all day and they bundled her up in it, so she can smell her daddy's scent. I raised the campaign goal to cover her new expenses at the vet and if she survives this she still needs to see an eye specialist for her blindness.
Thank you everyone that has donated, shared and sent your healing prayers and well wishes for Our little Miracle.
The first thing I want to say is a great big thank you to all the wonderful people that have stepped up and donated, commented and supported Miracle and myself, I want everyone to know that all the funds collected will go towards Miracle's vet expenses, her follow up care and other things that she might need to ensure her recovery. If there are any funds left over we will use them to save more animals that are rescued through our 501 (c) (3) rescue group, Sierra Pacific Furbabies. www.sierrapacificfurbabies.com

I just had a nice visit with our little Miracle! She is doing great!
She didn't eat for me but they said she ate all her breakfast this morning. Her eyesight doesn't appear to have improved yet but I'm still hopeful.
I want to thank all of you for all your donations, prayers, kind words and well wishes!
David & Miracle
There are wonderful, compassionate, selfless people in this world. I am overjoyed to see how well Miracle is doing and I am grateful and humbled to have helped in even the smallest way. Many, many thanks and much love to David and all of Miracle's veterinary caregivers for the amazing job they're doing.
Although you see that the goal has been met there may be addional vet visits necessary for Miracle not to mention all that David does and will continue to do. So amazing to see so many come together to do something great! David you may have Miracle but you are her miracle!
I'm rooting for Miracle! She is so lucky to be cared by you David! Besides my donation today, when I return back to teaching next week , my students will collect donations and submit it to help with Miracle's recovery! Every year my students raise money to give to an animal charity. Important to teach children compassion and to always help animals.
Beautiful story! I found myself in a similar situation on vacation in LA. Not one car stopped or passing person for that matter at a busy intersection for an injured and terrified tiny puppy. We scooped the poor thing up, got her medical care and grooming and my family is blessed to have Rooney call us and our other two dogs her forever home!
David, you are truly an angel and people like you help restore my faith in humanity. It is amazing how many people will just drive by a dog in the road, but you cared and stopped thereby saving her life. For that I am in awe of you and thank you!!!! She is beautiful and very fortunate that you were there....you are truly inspiring and deeply kind. I wish you and Miracle the best!!!!
I'm so glad you were able to raise all the money you needed for Miracle's operation. I hope she continues to recover. You are a amazing human being! God bless you.
