Our mom Audrey has been recently diagnosed with advanced stages of cancer in multiple organs.
Because of the stage of her cancer doing traditional medicine alone would wear her tired body out and most likely take her life.
So we collaborated with two oncologist who are incredible and they're treating her with two different methods she's on a very mild pill form Chemo.
And she's also having hyper thermal treatment and immune therapy.
Because mom has recently retired literally weeks before she got sick she's on a very small pension . Our family circumstances have changed for all of our family and we need to reach out to the community for support and put our pride aside which is very difficult thing to do sometimes.
It's not easy to ask for help especially when people judge though we wouldn't ask if we didn't need this help and we truly do as her treatments are extensively expensive .
These treatments are working and she has regained some great qualities of her life back that she didn't have a month ago.
Within a few weeks of being sick she was unable to cook for herself clean for herself and even use her own shower.
Since the treatments she's been able to have all of those functions back and she's even been able to leave her apartment and enjoy a day out at the beach, however without these treatments she would not be able to do these things many of us take for granted.
The treatments are very pricey though when you can have your quality-of-life back we will do anything we can to help our mom get these treatments even if it's asking the community for support.
Our mom deserves a chance to enjoy her retirement she's worked hard her whole life raising my sisters and I as a single mom where she struggled and did the best she could do.
