Help Byron replace hot water tank

Hello everyone. My name is Byron Rempel, and I am starting this campaign to try to get some help to fix or replace my hot water tank.
It has just started to leak at the bottom of the tank and I have no savings to help repair or replace it.
This is the latest in events that have caused a downward slide for me and my family. From our pet cat Sebastian almost dying (when he swallowed string), a car crash that wrote off our vehicle (no one was hurt, thank goodness) and now the hot water tank.
This has caused a lot of stress on me and my wife, and we still owe the vet some money for the life saving procedure they did. I don't know what else to do at this point other than to ask for help.
If you know who I am then you know I'm a stay home dad with a wife and three kids. I'm unable to work a full time job but I am on disability (i have KTS and my left leg is a mess) and I try to earn extra income from drawing portraits. Specifically zombie portraits and pet portraits.
Even with my recent sales I've only just started to get back on my feet with bills, mortgage and the expenses of raising 3 kids.
I don't like to ask for handouts so if you would rather hire me I am OK with that too. You can find me on googlePlus and if you want to perhaps buy some art I've already created, take a look at my store ... every purchase will help.
Tomorrow I am calling the plumber to get an estimate. Most likely it will cost a grand or more, and I'm desperately turning to the internet to try to raise these funds.
Everything will go towards paying for the hotwater tank and anything else goes to paying my outstanding bills.
I don't know what else to type at the moment, I'm in a bit of a panic right now.
The leak has spread to the bathroom and the hallway rug but I'm trying to redirect the water to the laundry room drain so the kids can have their showers and the dishes can get done. Then I think I'll have to shut the hot water tank off.
I'll update as things progress ... hopefully nothing gets worse.
