Byrd’s Medical and after care expenses

On the evening of December 1st my brother Jason (known by most as Byrd) was in a motorcycle accident. He sustained numerous fractures to his skull, ribs, shoulder and spinal cord.
Jason (Byrd) under went major spinal surgery on December 4th. The injury to his spinal cord was worse than his medical team originally thought.
Unfortunately, he will not walk again and is paralyzed from his waist down. They inserted a rod to help stabilize his spine. He will remain in the hospital for several weeks and then will start the rehabilitation process.
Jason is the most spirited, positive, generous and kind soul I know. He has had his share of ups and downs but was on the road to success and happiness.
He has a very long physical, emotional, and financial road ahead of him.
All donations will go to help cover medical and rehabilitation expenses. Any funds remaining once he is back to work will be donated to a spinal cord injury foundation such as the Christopher Reeves Foundation.
