The Christmas Challenge 2017
The Christmas Challenge 2017 is to raise £835 or more In the lead up to Christmas to be able to give every child spending Christmas in a North Yorkshire hospital a Police teddy from us here at North Yorkshire Police.
We decided to set the Christmas Challenge for a number of reasons, firstly because could you imagine what it feels like spending Christmas as a child in hospital instead of been at home surrounded by your family?
Secondly we want to let them know we are thinking of them and they are not alone.
Thirdly we are lucky enough to have a job which still gets smiles and gives excitement to children when they see the police uniform.
So between us all I’m sure we can smash this target and any left overs will be spread across other child charities.
