On February 14th, two of our lacrosse brothers were directly impacted by the Parkland Shootings. Andy Pollack lost his daughter Meadow and Joe Chiarella lost his daugther's boyfriend Nick.
The game of lacrosse has a special way of bringing people together to play the sport they love. Along the way you meet great people resulting in friends for life and a special brotherhood.
We are reaching out to the lacrosse brotherhood to ask for your donations to show support for our Buzzard teammates in Parkland, Florida.
We have set up two scholarship funds to honor Meadow Pollack and Nick Dworet . We will be splitting all donations equally between the two family funds.
I will be collecting money over the next 3 weeks during our Sunday run ending March 11th at the championship. I will be asking all the FLL teams while in Orlando to contribute.
