From the Murphy FamilyAs many of you know, it's been quite a year for us. From kids, to two missions trips for Mr. Jordan, to selling our home, moving and stretching our faith in ways we never imagined, God has been calling us in new directions. The amount of growth we have experienced continues to leave us in disbelief. Looking back on where we have been, and where we are headed, leaves us amazed by the works of the Lord. Recently Mr. Jordan and I decided to attend a conference in Pennsylvania a couple of weeks ago. This was through the same ministry he traveled with last summer to Brazil. During his trip to Brazil, Jordan had the opportunity to pray for hundreds of lost people, and was able to witness the power of God through physical and emotional healing. Voice of the Prophets is one of many conferences put on through Randy Clark's ministry Global Awakenings. At this conference we not only grew in the Lord as individuals, but as a married couple and team mates. God spoke to us, and used us as a TEAM through praying for people, and watching them be healed, and speaking into them. We quickly discovered a hunger that that could not be quenched. A hunger and a desire to continue this path of growth and ministering to others. A passion to see the lost experience the power of a God who loves them. Global Awakenings not only has opportunities for missions and life changing conferences, but they also provide a nine month schooling program where they sharpen, grow and extend your faith and gifting and start to guide you into ministry. As we have prayed together on this, the Lord showed us this is something we are supposed to do. However the nine month program does not accommodate us due to children, cost, and of course would require another move to Pennsylvania. However, they offer an intense program of taking the nine month course and condensing it into a three week program. This program starts the first week in June and would require obviously the cost of the courses, as well as housing for Mr. Jordan, and a loss of three weeks salary. This is where we rebuke fear and worry, and pray for our faith and a provision. This is an incredible opportunity. Jordan will be continually learning how to prophesy, healing, impartation, power evangelism, identity in Christ, character development, destiny clarification, covenant, and hearing God's voice are just some of the topics that will be covered. The speakers for GSI 2017 are: Dr. Randy Clark, Robby Dawkins, Dr. Tom Jones, Will Hart, Bob Hazlett, Amy Lancaster, Dominic Russo, Lee Grady, Mark Virkler, Dr. Melodye Hilton, Pastor Alan Hawkins, Dr. Mike Hutchings, Micah Joy Williams, Ruth Martini, and Ben Williams. At the end of this course he will receive a certification. It doesn't stop there. After this schooling we desire to continue to grow TOGETHER! Through conferences, missions trips, outreaches, and eventually our own personal ministry. I will be taking this three week course as well next year. During this time we want nothing holding us back. If God says "Go!" we want to be able to say "Yes, Lord!" We pray for financial provision so that we can free ourselves of debt and anything that keeps us from moving forward with God's plan. This is out of our comfort zone to do anything like this. There is no obligation to give financially, prayer means just as much to us and takes us and carries us just as far.
