* Watch the video above and see the incredible hardship the oranguatans are under.

* Did it break your heart to see the destruction the palm oil plantations are doing to natural habitat of the orangutan, pygmy elephant and so many more species?

ARE YOU READY TO STAND UP
                                   AND PLAY YOUR PART??

On the island of Borneo Malaysia, the struggle against the deforestation is a real and daily struggle.

Trailblazers Travel
has teamed up with B.E.S.T. (Borneo Ecotours Solutions and Technologies) and WITH YOUR HELP,  we plan to purchase a 7 acre parcel of land to keep it from the palm oil companies. The land will be set aside for the purpose of conservation and research, and not for agriculture or commercial tours activities.

The 2nd stage plan is to set up a research centre to be managed by volunteers from all over the world to help provide technical expertise to monitor elephants, orangutans and other wildlifes in the region.  B.E.S.T will put up an office and accommodation on the land to ensure the future sustainability of the Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary which is home to hundreds, if not thousands, of species of animals and is now further threatened by the government building a road through it further affecting wildlife and elephant migration route.

WARNING: The images below may upset some and force you to dig deep and donate to our cause!

With palm oil companies looming, it creates an urgency to gather these funds ASAP to ensure they don't get their grimy mits on this land.  I believe a reasonable goal for raising the funds is 3 months.

                  GOAL DEADLINE: 10 MAY 2017.

The cruel side effects of palm oil plantations on the orangutans and so many more animals who lose their habitat when palm oil companies come in, destroy their habitat and rape the land of its bounty.

Let's secure this land, do our bit and ensure it is kept out of the hands of the destructive palm oil companies and in the custodian hands of those who nuture and sustain and in doing so, will empower the world for all future generations.  Their lives depend on it.

The elephants 'sensed' the good news and decided to stop by last night! Marty, a guide from Sukau Rainforest Lodge spotted more than 30 elephants during night cruise and returned earlier this morning to make sure his eyes were not playing tricks on him True enough, the gentle giants left their footprints (and poop ) behind.

This is the 7.7 acres treasure of which we are putting our conservation efforts through Borneo Land Conservancy initiative.

Ever since we arrived on this planet as a species, we’ve cut them down, dug them up, burnt them and poisoned them. Today we’re doing so on a greater scale than ever- David Attenborough

Well done Albert Chin Kion Teo & Team!

We have an update on our #BuyBackBorneo campaign:

"The agreement to purchase 7.7 acres of forested land in Sukau for conservation, orangutan and elephant habitat is finally signed in front of the lawyer in Sandakan. "A small step to a big future."

This is such an achievement but we are only part of the way there, which is why we need you to help save the Bornean Rainforest and it's wildlife by sharing our work with friends and family on social media.

Thank you all for your donations, together we are making a difference!
