My friend Piper Matt has just told me that his bagpipes were stolen when he was in Dublin playing on St. Patrick's day. They from the hotel where he was playing on the night. Matt is a regular busker around Dumfries and Galloway and relies on his pipes for his income. It will cost £2000 for a replacement set to be made. He's placed an order for them but we think we should all try and help him out with this cost. He was delighted to be going to Dublin to play his pipes, he doesn't get the opportunity to play at events like that very often. It is so, so sad that he had the tools of his trade and best friend his Scottish Bagpipes stolen from him. Please help any way you can and share. Matt is a great guy and too proud to ask for himself, he deserves our support.
