Bush Bailey's Chemo travel fund

My dad, Bush Bailey was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, and is undergoing chemotherapy treatments in Santa Fe. Previously, he went twice a month, but the cancer was unresponsive and doctors changed the protocol to 5 consecutive days of chemo every three weeks for three cycles.
He will need to spend four nights a week in a motel for three weeks, and to prevent losing more weight, eat three solid meals each day he gone. Thankfully, the VA pays the medical bills but Bush lives on social security and the travel budget of $3000 is prohibitive. After I set up this gofundme page for him, a cancer foundation said it would be pay his hotel bill, and they have reserved a room for the nights he will need it! Whats left is the budget for food and vehicle expenses of about $800. So I've adjusted the goal.
Other ways to help: you can water his garden, help with weed whacking the yard, and bring home cooked food when he is home, or just call him to tell him you appreciate him. I am here in his hotel room now but my very busy schedule will only allow for me to be with him one or two nights a week when he is in Santa Fe, and I recently moved to a place near his house which will allow me to be closer when he needs something.
For those who know Bush, he has always been very generous to those in need, whether they had health problems or legal ones. Now it's the community's turn to reach out to him in his time of need.
