My cousin James Mounteer is only 24, and has always had a special place in my heart, but that’s no surprise he has that affect on everyone !
On Sunday evening, May 6, 2018 James was at home about to fry up some fish, (as we all know grease is dangerous when cooking and have all been burned by it one way or another) the grease, caught fire and James tried to put it out and it exploded and he is currently now in trauma ICU at ORMC and will be there for an extended amount of time before he’s able to be transferred to the burn unit . He has 2nd and 3rd degree burns on 35.6% of his body. We do not know if he will need skin grafting yet (they do not unwrap and scrub again for a few more hours) he has been in and out of sleep since 1am!
Nothing in the world is harder than seeing your child in pain. My Aunt Jenni, is a mama bear and like any great parent will not leave his side and will need prayers as well!
James is a line man, and a very respected man, that has his life together and on track and would do anything for anyone!
