As most of you know Christopher Ryan Bumpass and his son Parker Ryan Bumpass were in a tragic car accident on Friday, March 22nd 2019
Thankfully Christopher’s son, Parker was not physically injured aside from small bruising. And we are so tremendously thankful to still have this little man with us. That being said Christopher, Parker’s father did not recover from this tragic accident. He was flown to Medical City Plano where he resided for the next 12 days while doctors and nurses preformed major surgeries trying to save our sweet Christopher’s life. We had all the hope and faith for his recovery which turned into a beautiful heartwarming hashtag #BumpsBounceBack with a Facebook page “Chris Bumpass’ Road to Recovery”
It wasn’t until March 29th Chris had his MRI and the results were not what any of us had hoped and prayed for. From there the family had to make some very difficult decisions on what Chris would have wanted. This concluded in his life being put in Gods hands. His Aunt Amanda whom was more of a sister to him than anything was with our sweet Chris during his last breaths. We are proud to say he did save some lives being an organ and tissue donor.
We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to ask for any donations whatsoever to further insure his family that lives out of state can be here to celebrate Christopher’s life, such as travel expenses, any additional medical costs, as well as anything that is not covered for his funeral. Burial sites, headstone.. etc. Taking all this in.. we are so proud to say that Chris had already started Parker a college fund. So anything left after these expenses will go towards Parker’s higher education. This just goes to show what kind of person/father Christoper was. He touched so many lives while on Earth and it would bring all of us great joy in helping his family out in this time of need.
