We are Bulldogs Racing, the Yale University chapter of Society of Automotive Engineers. We design and manufacture Formula-style race cars to compete at the annual Formula SAE Collegiate series. We became the world champions at the Formula SAE Hybrid competition in 2013, receiving awards from Ford, GM and Chrysler. In 2014, at the same competition, we came in 4th place.
This year we are developing Yale’s first all-electric race car to compete at the forefront of next generation electric powertrain technology in Formula Electric. With over 620 bhp per ton and a 0-60mph time under 2.5 seconds, our new car is destined to be one of the fastest sets of four wheels in the US as well as a learning experience that will get us one step closer to understanding the future of the automobile. We have the people, the knowledge and the passion to build it, but we need your support to fuel our project and leverage our brand.
Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing from you.
